I was extremely lucky to work along side Lia during my time at Funko. Not only did I gain a new friend, but I got the privilege to learn from her. Lia is an extremely talented individual with a well rounded skill set in marketing. She is a highly creative individual who knows how to get the job done. She isn’t afraid to dive head first into her work and put out high quality material. While I have seen her be a team leader, she is also a team player. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needs it. I know Lia is going to continue doing great things as she continues to advance her career. I worked with Lia while she was on the DTC team at Funko and then more closely when she moved over to marketing. She does a fantastic job at campaign strategy. I was very impressed with her ability to build a roadmap for different campaigns (multiple at a time) and then ask channel owners for their input in the campaign. She conducts herself in a very eager to learn and professional manner. You can tell right away that Lia wants to contribute and be a significant part of the team. Lia and I worked together as officers for WWU’s Student Marketing Association (SMA) 2019 - 2020 and she is a fantastic team member to have. As President, it was my job to manage my fellow officers, and Lia made my job so easy by always being a couple steps ahead. Her role as VP of Events was very demanding - she was responsible for a lot of different tasks, but the main one was the SMA Case Competition. She not only kept track of all the details, but she also played a very important role in the completion of the event planning tasks - specifically fundraising. Lia has worked with Camp Agape Northwest as a volunteer “buddy”, partnering with children with cancer or their siblings, and as our marketing and communications intern - I have felt privileged to manage her in both positions.
